When we speak of excess energy with respect to motorcycles, produced by Marine Turbine Technologies Y2K should be the king. The Y2K is the motorbike fastest ever to go into production. The reason for the blistering speed and raw power was a gas turbine engine normally used in helicopters Bell Jet Ranger has fueled the Y2K.
Y2K was the first jet-powered vehicle legally able to work towards public. The price of Y2K was north of $ 150,000 and if it did not enter mass production there was enough demand to justify a limited production.
The Y2k should be designed to take advantage of the operating characteristics of jet engines, while minimizing the disadvantages. This engine was capable of running on everything from cheap tequila regular gasoline at the pump, but diesel preferred.
