What is the advanatage of a petrol plane over an electric oneother than havng to rechrge the batteries. the one i bought has a quick recharge pack on site so you can carry on terrorising the neighbours without much delay. I would prefer a petrolplane coz they sound better but the cost is silly

That type of plane lasts for about 1 day max. It is flimsy "made in China" and will break when it hits something, but good fun for kids.
As for the proper petrol one, yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for – of course, you need to know how to fly it properly.

generally petrol planes have longer flight times than electirc ones and have better performance and RPM cuz electric ones get sluggish when power starts to get drained out. Petrol planes are usually for those hard core fliers but electric planes are pretty fun to fly and are good to use if you’re a beginner
I don’t know about sounding better but petrol planes are A LOT louder than electric ones.
