2 RTF Remote Control Glider CrashingFirst flights with a rtf electric glider (Guanli). Not the best of attempts, but to be fair JF hadnt flown a model plane before. There was quite a bit more footage, but the camera shake was too much with me laughing.

    is that the guanli thunderbolt or thunderbird, i have the thunderbolt and first flight just managed to keep it up, but chucked a brushless in it and a 8.4v in it and went good

    very true, I have been flying the same model this evening with the pissy motor and a 5 cell 6v 3000mah pack when it should be 8.4v, I managed to just keep it in the air but managed 15 mins flying at very low height, wud not climb out at all but stayed up, must be ground effect

    Try launching level …
    Try launching level. Everytime you launched it basically stalled, you need to give it time get up to speed before asending. Better still chuck the pissy weak motor it obvoiusly came with and get a brushless in there …. then you can launch as you were and it will get to height with confidence. Good luck
