My designed aircraft has a drag coefficient of about 0.34, do you think it would fly with 2 brushless motors.?

    Lol, it looks like …
Lol, it looks like an A340 with the extra motors, well they dont have motors in them but you know what I mean, why dont you put motors in them and a better battery, that would be so cool!

    when you will …

    Actually this is my …
Actually this is my Airliner, the same airliner that crashed into the stake in the crash compilation video, and broke into 4 peices. As you can see, shes better than ever. And yes, we agree, we are nuts. But oh what fun it is to be nuts! LOL

    you and tim are …
you and tim are nuts! Is that his airliner that ate the street sign?

    And I thought …
And I thought taking the the hawk off was tough!!;-)

    I appreciate the …
I appreciate the luck. Im concerned about the power. But I know if I can get off the ground and climb, it’ll be fine in the air. During our runway tests and small lifts off the ground, it was like watching an Elephant run, jump and try to fly. BUT, the wind was blowing at 15 to 20mph. So it was seriously slowing us down although providing extra lift.

We may need to convert this mod and experiment over to Tinkermans Airliner! He’s got Eflite BL15 motors!!!

  • RCRedBaron

    LOL… Thanks Man!
    LOL… Thanks Man!

  • RCRedBaron

    Thanks! I dont …
Thanks! I dont know if this is getting off the ground today (Sunday) The wind is supposed to be 20 to 25mph. I like some wind, but theres no way this combo will get off the ground under that.

I seriously cant wait to see this.
    Good luck with this.
Does the airliner have enough grunt to do the take off or have you guys moded the motor’s?

Good luck on that one, got to see this vid!

  • RCRedBaron

    The F-35 Should …
The F-35 Should pull away from the airliner at about 35degrees up angel, while the airliner drops back and down at same angel. It’ll be communication galore between SkyNinja and myself to time it right. And I’ll have it on close up video from the FlyCamOne2 mounted on the airliner vertical.

If we dont do this soon, we’re going to go insane waiting!

    Thanks for watching!!!

    This is gutsy! lol

    This is gutsy! lol
You should modify the tail like the NASA 747.
Are you going to be able drop and roll the 777 and the same time you lift and roll the F35 the other way?
I hope you don’t knock the tail off the 777!
    Great idea though!
I would love to see a NASA 747 release an Enterprise shuttle.
    Great video!

    We’re dieing over …
We’re dieing over here waiting to go! Stupid weather! The F-35 is the perfect plane for this experiment!

  • RCRedBaron

    The release is a …
The release is a simple rod and tube design. The F35 won’t come off the airliner unless she has full power, wind under the wings, and the airliner drops speed and almost drops out from under it. The rods are faced forward at about 35degrees. There’s one quick shot of the rod/tube design. Very simple. Non intrusive to either plane. We were going to rig a servo with bomb drop release latches for it, but! we’re already heavy enough.

    Oh AWESOME! That …
Oh AWESOME! That will TOTALLY work!

    Cliff Hanger for …
Cliff Hanger for Sure!!! We’re all biteing at the bit here to get this experiment off the ground! If all goes well, its gonna be Kool I tell ya!!!! Check response below for delay explanation.

    thanks!!!

    Thanks for viewing! …
    Thanks for viewing!

We’re looking at 2 delays. One the weather. The wind was gusting at 25mph today. What a let down. We’re hopeing for tomorrow. The other delay is the thrust test. Not sure if the stock airliner can handle the extra load. We might have to use Tinkermans Airliner. He has BL15 motors in his. Way more thrust! If we don’t go tomorrow, Im sure we’ll be ready for launch for next weekend. I really want tomorrow!!!!
