I learned on a Hitec Sky Scooter, It was cheap and rtf. I beat that into the ground…literally. I glued it back together and was up flying in 5 minutes time. It was a great plane. I have heard really good things about the gws pico stick and slow stick. There are lots of guys at the park flying those effortlessly. Good luck…plan to spend way more than you expect though I got hooked on planes now moved into helicopters…

    i started with a hobbico hobbistar 60.
the hobbico nexstar is a good trainer

i highly recommend purchasing the real flight simulator from greatplanes. i have one and have been teaching myself to fly again as i have been out of the r/c scene for a few years. i wanna brush up on the skills before i dust off the old plane
