Where can I find a place to buy a GOOD RC plane kit? Not a junky one, and not an ARF or RTF.?

by admin on February 1, 2010

I need to find an airplane kit to build for my flight class, and I can’t find anywhere with some kits that aren’t ARF or RTF; THE ONLY THING ANYBODY SELLS ARE ARFs AND RTFs!!! I was looking for a p-82 / f-82, however anything that is just cool will work, lol. I don’t want a glider, but an airlplane with an actual powerplant. Plus it needs to be somwhat big, none of that 26"wingspan!!!!!!. Any help will be much appreciated, plus if you have any ideas for a differnt plane that you enjoy then go ahead and suggest it, I’m open to ideas.
Thanks much!!!!

A Twin Mustang !! Wow, that’s a project !!

Here is a F-82 Twin Mustang in 1/5th scale, which gives it a wingspan of 130" (10′ 10") The kit is $1500 without the engines: http://www.giantscaletwins.com/F-82_Twin_Mustang.htm

Pricey, BUT such is the world of RC Aircraft.

s it legal to fly electric RC airplanes in a park where there are no or less kids?
